Original lyrics
ENHe was a hero to some
And a villain to others
And wherever he rode
People spoke his name in whispers
And he's always dogging my trail
This man of fire
Mark of the demon will never fail
This gun for hire
The shroud is coming down over me
He had no friends
But he did have two companions
One death itself
And the other the acrid smell of gunsmoke
