Behind Walls lyrics

You stand at the window and you see The sun goes down the horizon You stare at the sky you search for stars But the stars you cannot find Everywhere is darkness only Barbed wire in the twilight You wish that this time would end You have been praying since the first night Desolate walls endlessly high Desolate walls endlessly long Everything seems gray as ash And your hope has gone You know you can't escape from here Every joy is damned wrong Lost the feeling for time Every second is too long Too long Here you feel your mind is blurring, Hardly reach for thought Constantly in deep depression You see only fog Everything is dark and gloomy Far away the day you're home You count the seconds on your watch, Feel only pain, feel all alone Your hope has gone Every second is too long Too long
