كلمات Once I Had Wings

I've made peace But I'm still a mess After running in search of some place To come to rest Somewhere I lost The truth that I found And building up faith Is tearing me down Once I had wings I'd soar the skies I'd rest on the wind Closing my eyes And glide with a smile I used to dream One day I'd arrive Where I am now But now that I'm here I just want to fly When I was free I built a wall Now that I'm trying to climb it I find That it's too tall I was blind To the love I received By keeping fear out I locked myself in Once I had wings I'd soar the skies I'd rest on the wind Closing my eyes And glide with a smile I used to dream One day I'd arrive Where I am now But now that I'm here I just want to fly Sometimes we look for a meaning where there is no sense Sometimes we want to go back to the start in the end Once I had wings I'd soar the skies I'd rest on the wind Closing my eyes And glide with a smile I used to dream One day I'd arrive Where I am now But now that I'm here I just want to fly
