كلمات Adoration of Holy Host

Jesus said to them: Amen, I say to you Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man And drink his blood, you do not have life within you A symbol of raw divinity A Seal of eternity's gateway Visceral carnal focal point Mental images of the most holy deity The apostles quarreled at eating flesh The early church cast as a cannibal cult The ancients wrote of drinking God's blood For over a thousand years all believed That he was there A symbol of raw divinity A Seal of eternity's gateway Is a symbolic view the milk of babes? A necessary concession of an enlightened age? Did the apostles mis-train their disciples? Or has half the church been deceived? If you are there shall I not bow before you? If I chew your flesh should I not kneel before it? Will you have compassion towards our need for carnal symbols? Will you lead the faithful away from that which you hate?
