كلمات Benedictus (Cantico Alla Musica) (translation)

I want to tell you this Sweet music Now that you have made a leaf of me May you be blessed forever, I say I owe you my lightness and more I owe you the richness I hold Cherished in my heart, laid bare for you And to learn, one day I stole Your essence: rhythm and melody Changes of mood and harmony Listening to you I understand God, and Love What a secret! It was not that distant after all, it was there Just behind my forehead Where both illumination and obscurity reside Listening to you one day I realize that My essence is rhythm and melody Changes of mood and harmony Oh music, rationality and madness Listening to you I understood Who I am, all my reasons What love is...Love Benedictus...
