Let You Down lyrics

the phone is ringin' and it ain't jokin' a bill collector but I'm outside smokin' unshaven in the afternoon's glare that's the unemployed truth laundry change in a beggar's tin cup I'm oversleepin' 'cuz I'm tired of wakin' up unshaven in the afternoon glare that's the unemployed truth I'm a loser and I will let you down seven months and I still ain't made rent I brush my teeth with your impatience and crawl under the tap and wash my hair with the unemployed truth disapproval on narrow shoulders stacking rejection and another hangover pounding in the afternoon glare that's the unemployed truth I'm a loser and I will let you down you wanna be a star well I'm afraid of heights we both know how you are I'll only ruin your night i will let you down
