I'm Just Gone lyrics

I could count the miles between us now and say I'm that much further from you now than I was yesteday But even after all the roads I've traveled on We're as close as we were then I'm just gone Standing in the wind comparing then to now And it seems to me I stand a little taller somehow Though I'm in Portland Maine and you're in San Antone We're as close as we were then I'm just gone It's snowing here where I am today and it's freezing everything But after doing time with you ah honey this almost feels like spring Though I'm in Portland Maine and you're in San Antone We're as close as we were then I'm just gone We're as close as we've ever been I'm just gone
