Mask Of Gold lyrics

Fifteen-twenty-six, the captain heads the ship to west Ashore a new world never seen Gold hunger drives us forward Silent cattle of the wild Must argue with a sword of steel The elder shows the golden stones Now fire lights in evil eyes Is this true, or just a lie Is it madness that we believe? No! Tale of twisted face of old in the darkness Leads to instanity or mountains of treasure Gold hungry hearts will eat the souls of resistance Mad roam in poverty or wear devils mask of gold Back upon the weathered deck The crew and captain quarrels mad Choose the way by wise decision Or the path to evil Half the cattle walked the plank With all the rest went silent on Embarking to the rocky shores A journey to the end of all Swords and horses made of gold We can't believe our eyes The captain takes the mask in rage The legend was true
