Original lyrics
ENSometimes the whiskey gets the best of me
And it's hard for some people to see
That this outlaws livin' his life
And he's livin' it free
If you don't like it you can suck my dixie
Well a rebel on the run is bound to have fun
Drunk 'n with my shotgun shootin' people just for fun
And I reckon Johnny law with soon catch up with me
Til then he can suck my dixie
Well I dont beat around the bush
And always go out guns a-blazin'
And the results from drinkin' too much whiskey
Can be amazin'
Well feller you might not of heard about me
If you don't like it you can suck my dixie
And I been know to cause a ruckus or two
And I probably even had some words with you
Well I guess it's safe to say stay the hell away from me
If you don't like it you can suck my dixie
If you don't like it you can suck my dixie
