Original lyrics
ENVerse:
We are not ashamed
of the gospel of Jesus Christ,
for it is the power of salvation
to everyone that believes it,
to everyone that receives it;
He shall have everlasting life.
Bridge:
God's word (is a light unto my pathway).
His word (is a lamp unto my feet).
Gods' word (will take on to glory),
sets the captives free, makes the blind to see.
God's word (is a light unto my pathway).
His word (is a lamp unto my feet).
Gods' word (will take on to glory),
set the captive free to live eternally.
Vamp:
We are not ashamed,
we are not ashamed,
of the gospel of Jesus Christ,
for it has everlasting life.
