Goodbye lyrics

GOODBYE I watched the sun go down today I didn't know it was so bright I tried but I couldn't pull away Painted my squinting face with light I watched the sun go down today I watched the sun go down today And as the daylight fades away I say goodbye to yesterday I saw my life flash by my eyes Retasted 27 cakes I saw the whole world pass me by Relived a lifetime of mistakes CHORUS I felt a dying sun's decay I knew how empty was the sky It slipped away through my embrace I tried but couldn't hold that tight I watched the sun go down today I watched the sun go down today And as I watch the fading light To ending days I say goodbye
