Dreaming In Color lyrics

The static screams, it's deafening I don't think I can make it another day With this weight on me It's suffocating and all I needs a little relief I play this over and over in my head A death to the mundane but I won't hold my breath I'd rather be dreaming in color When real life's so black and white I'd rather be dreaming in color Lucid and free I'd rather be dreaming in color 'Cause now I finally see That when I'm dreaming in color I'm living in color This war on sleep, it's haunting me Looking through the eyes of a tragedy A dose of ketamine 'cause I can't breathe It's giving me a little relief I play this over and over in my head A state of nirvana, like living my life after death I'd rather be dreaming in color When real life's so black and white I'd rather be dreaming in color Lucid and free I'd rather be dreaming in color 'Cause now I finally see That when I'm dreaming in color I'm living in color It's all white noise to me 'Cause I'd rather be dreaming, dreaming It's all so grey to me 'Cause I'd rather be dreaming, dreaming In color, in color 'Cause life's so black and white I'd rather be dreaming in color When real life's so black and white I'd rather be dreaming in color Lucid and free I'd rather be dreaming in color 'Cause now I finally see That when I'm dreaming in color I'm living in color
