Friend in Jesus lyrics

You don’t need a Savior If you don’t know sin and shame You don’t need forgiveness When you’ve never walked away This is my story I'm a life made new I'm the one who’s been set free Oh, I have found a friend in Jesus He is everything to me I have found a friend in Jesus Yes, He is my everything And I have a Shepherd Who always keeps me safe And I found a healer Who knows my every pain But this is my story Of redeeming love I have come to know Him well I have found a friend in Jesus He is everything to me I have found a friend in Jesus Yes, He is my everything He walks with me He talks with me And He tells me I am His own (Yes, I am) And the joy we share What else compares It’s like nothing I’ve ever known I can’t believe it I can’t believe it I can’t believe it No, I can’t believe it
