Summertime lyrics

Winter has finally gone away The leaves are coming back and here to stay For a short while, oh, my heart grows fond Knowing that the Sun will shine my fears away Ooh, I can feel the rain shining right through me Ooh, how the weight it lifts up from my shoulders I can't control the heaviness I'm feeling Ooh, summertime, summertime is here Summertime is here Can't wait to wipe the tears away To stop pretending it will be okay So I'll be strong, I'll carry on Knowing that the Sun will shine my fears away Ooh, I can feel the rain shining right through me Ooh, how the weight it lifts up from my shoulders I can't control the heaviness I'm feeling Ooh, summertime, summertime is here Summertime is here Someday the Sun will go away Feelings I know so well will see the day But I'll be strong, I'll carry on Holding on to all the hope I kept within Ooh, I can feel the rain shining right through me Ooh, how the weight it lifts up from my shoulders I can't control the heaviness I'm feeling Ooh, summertime Summertime Summertime Summertime is here
