Desperate Western Song lyrics

He sits upon the hill just waiting to feel The clear cold rain falling on his skin The day's last rays shining into his eyes A thought in his mind brings the burning tide Got revolution running high Up through the brain and down the sky All of the people who been there Them golden ones who disappeared The canyon rolls deep on and on Echoes the desperate western song The canyon rolls deep on and on Composes verses of the river song The battle cry of those who condemn To crawl through the earth and never rise up again
