Oh, Susanna lyrics

Well, I come from Alabama With my banjo on my knee And I'm bound for Lousiana My true love for to see Well It rained all night The day I left The weather it was dry The sun so hot I froze myself Susanna don't you cry Oh, Susanna Oh, don't you cry for me Well, I come from Alabama With my banjo on my knee I had a dream the other night When everything was still I dreamed I saw Susanna She was coming down the hill A red Red rose was in her mouth A tear was in her eye Said I come from Alabama Now, Susanna don't you cry Oh, Susanna Don't you cry for me Well, I come from Alabama With my banjo on my knee Well, I come from Alabama With my banjo on my knee The land of Louisiana Is where I want to be
