Letter From Last Summer lyrics

God damn, these shoes are killing my feet I can’t walk no further Let’s sit here and wait for your parents to call you And meanwhile, I’ll hold your hands I can’t remember the name of the place Where I bought this backpack But I know it was somewhere with you in a city Where memories live of our love Don’t be a nuisance Just kiss me for longer Cos we have been crying as much as we’ve laughed Read aloud the letter from last summer So I can recall why I wrote it to you Your name doesn’t show up on my phone anymore Cos it’s what you decided So I’ll try to kick these old habits Pretending your voice doesn’t linger round me Don’t be a nuisance Just kiss me for longer Cos we have been crying as much as we’ve laughed Just read aloud the letter from last summer I think I recall why I wrote it to you Yes, now I recall why I wrote it to you
