Signs And Wonders lyrics

When you breathed into earth Sprung nations from the dust Conceived its fathers from the ground And there lay them to rest I did not see Did not believe Or remember at sea When you opened up its mouth Fed the thousandth soldier in As Israel walked out I did not see Did not believe I mused on the night When the star of east burned bright, I heard heaven's host descend, Yet still I walk west I did not see Did not believe But even they Who saw the same Forget Yes, even I Would see these signs And forget. That I had no eyes to see But faith like a seed Blessed I would be Blossom over me
