It's Been One Heck Of A Day lyrics

It all started early this morning As her mem'ry cruely teased my mind I found a picture in my wallet I thought I hrew away Oh it's been one heck of a day Then while looking through the evening papers I ran across some torturing news Mr and Mrs O'Grady now have a new baby Oh it's been one heck of a day Is it there for me to love her and cry at the thought of her When my only hope is a dream An old friend dropped by late this evening Wouldn't you know he asked about her But I guess he didn't know that I lost her long ago Oh it's been one heck of a day Oh it's been one heck of a day
