Hill Fort lyrics

Destined for death my battle axe will cut your neck My fort is on a hill so you could never expect to Climb the walls, 100 meters tall An anomaly of medieval warfare your kingdom falls Destined for death my battle axe will cut your neck My fort is on a hill so you could never expect to Climb the walls, 100 meters tall An anomaly of medieval warfare your kingdom falls On hills so high in times long past Medieval forts stood strong and vast With walls of stone and gates so grand They watched over England's green land In each fort guards in armor bright Guarded by day and by stormy night Their swords would gleam in the morning Sun Ready for battles should they come Destined for death my battle axe will cut your neck My fort is on a hill so you could never expect to Climb the wall, 50 meters tall An anomaly of medieval warfare your kingdom falls De-De-Destined for death my battle axe will cut your neck My fort is on a hill so you could never expect to Climb the wall, 100 meters tall An anomaly of medieval warfare your kingdom falls Wall of pikes sure to stop those who try to breach the top Archers on the parapet black the sky, the Sun is blocked Deep moat circles keep ensuring the foes' defeat Max out our defenses, the offense is obsolete Atop the steepest hill in the land Sentries with long swords scale the wall, they'll cut your hand Gate guards with crossbows kill you for sport Try to get me in my fort Nope! Come get me in my hill fort!
