He came for all humanity Exchanged His crown for suffering Became the Lamb, the offering Buried in humility He left our sin there in the ground But death just couldn't keep Him down All of hell was trembling When Jesus rose in majesty Long live the King! Long live the King! King Jesus, King Jesus! Long live the King! Long live the King! King Jesus! He placed His robe around me And wrapped me in His victory My name was changed at Calvary Adopted into royalty. Now I sing Long live the King! Long live the King! King Jesus, King Jesus! Long live the King! Long live the King! King Jesus! And He shall reign, yes He shall reign! He shall reign forever and ever! He shall reign, and He shall reign! He shall reign forever and ever more! One day He'll split the eastern sky And all the saints will lift their eyes The King of glory will come down And every knee will finally bow!
