The Coming Of May lyrics

A cold February night Ever, ever, ever-spanning Into the chill Into the darkness Of May Familiar surroundings Come crashing into Pure confusion The house of cards Suddenly collapsed All those memories Placed on a card The Queen of Hearts and the Suicide King fall gracefully down And I awaken to the sounds of the rain pattering onto the window sill the blackness Is my blanket Were those smiles Ever real? Were you lying when you told me how you felt? All I'm sure of Is that It doesn't matter either way the show has come to end And I'm tired of Your cliches I'm falling Falling back into darkness, waiting I'm just waiting for the coming of May
