Distant Journey lyrics

Don't bother me with philosophy Humanistic wisdom I can't see I'm just ordinary people With eyes on the prize If you don't think there's a heaven Then you ain't very wise (Chorus) I'm on a distant journey That's gonna take me away I've got my destination I'll be there just any day Now don't you try to stop me Cause you'll be losing ground I'm on a distant journey That is glory bound I like flying in an airplane Going places I have never seen But nothing can compare With what's waiting over there Don't stand there doubting While I'm caught up in the air (Chorus) I ain't got the time to turn back now There's nothing I desire back there anyhow I'm on a distant journey (Chorus)
