Original lyrics
ENIn this world that were living
Evil is lurking around
Nations rising against one another
Their dreams are falling down
Oh but I got no reason to fear
'Cause my faith is not down here
(Chorus)
"Cause I'm living
Living on high hopes
You know I'm feeling
Feel I can touch the sky
On the children of God come on and clap your hands
We're gonna be together in the promise land
Living on high hopes
Yesterday I had no tomorrow
But now I've got it today
Jesus came and changed my direction
And on that road I'll stay
But I'm higher than I've ever been
Like an eagle in the wind
(Repeat Chorus)
Nothing in this world
Could ever be compared
To the joy that waits above
Forever in His love
(Repeat Chorus)
