Original lyrics
ENPeople getting ready
To go down in Canaan's land
The walls of Jericho
Will never stand against God's plan
And so we listen to the voice in the wind
Sound the trumpet
The wall has got to bend
(Chorus)
Tear it down, tear it down
If it's standing in the Lord's way
Tear it down, tear it down
There just ain't no other way
Tear it down
Some say I'm a Baptist
Others say I'm charismatic
Everyone's got religion
That has made them so dogmatic
The walls must fall
That separate us
Only Jesus can stop this fuss
(Chorus)
By one Spirit we are baptized
into Christ
One Lord one Faith
So let us come let us reason together
Let us build upon the Solid Rock
Tear it down
(Chorus)
