Original lyrics
ENYou said you’ve got so much left to do
Instead, you’re just pacing ‘round the room
‘Cause what else is someone supposed to do
When yourself doesn’t feel like it used to?
All these changes don’t have to get so strange
So my friend you just remember
Every year has its December
There’s gonna be days that you just pass right on through
But that’s what seasons do, they change
So, what now?
You’ve been talking like a palindrome
And somehow still don’t know which way the story goes, but
Turns out, no one either seems to really know
Man, I’ve found sometimes I’ve just got to let things go
Because changes are what make up the time, yeah
So my friend, you just remember
Every year has its December
There’s gonna be days that you just want something new
But that’s what seasons do, they change
So my friend, you just remember
Every year has its December
There’s gonna be days when you don’t feel like you
But that’s what seasons do, they change
