Songtext von Nature Oh! Creator

Nature Oh Creator Forgive me for denying you Nature Oh Creator Forgive me for denying you I miss seeing the stars I miss breathing fresh air I miss seeing happy children I miss drinking clean water Nature Oh Creator Forgive me for denying you How have we come so far away? Take us back, take us back, take us back! How have we come so far away? Take us back, take us back, take us back! Nature Oh Creator Forgive me for denying you (Spoken Word) Nature Oh Creator Forgive me for denying you I’ve turned my back upon you for too long How can I just take from you When in truth I am relying on you for my existence to go on Every time I disrespect you Every time I disregard what I feel will protect you Because I'm afraid of the time it takes Because I'm afraid of losing the race And I just can’t hack the pace so shouldn’t I slow down Return to nature as we know it All this frantic spiraling on shallow ground Can’t reveal the wonders of creation and it holds me down So it’s time that I return to you for your safe keeping Breathe deep into the air Stop searching for a fleeting buzz that never lasts the night It’s in the depths of the stillness where my dreams take flight In the depths of the stillness where my soul shines bright In the depths of the stillness where everything feels right I see the everlasting light In the depths of the stillness
