Songtext von The Secret

There was a time when only flowers grew on the meadow Behind a peaceful hill at the end of the field Every day we met under the apple tree And we played like children do Dancing over lush grass We weren't worried about anything And dreaming of roses and daffodils We believed this time would never end But dark clouds were soon to loom And lightnings from heaven to crush down that tree Our garden to be in flames And the secret was not to live any longer
