Songtext von Rise We Are Beloved

I saw a little boy lying down to sleep He prayed to God his soul to keep His love to guard him through that night And wake him up for a morning fight The angels watched him through that night Kept him safe with their light! Hold my death until I die Hold my death Hold my tears through the night Hold my tears We are beloved Rise above this We are beloved Rise above Now I lay me down to sleep I pray to God my soul to keep If I should die before I wake Bless me God my soul to take Hold my death until I die Hold my death Hold my fear through the night Hold my fears We are beloved Rise above this We are beloved Rise above this Behold this child’s heart We are beloved Rise above this We are beloved Rise above this We are beloved We are beloved We are beloved Rise above this
