Songtext von Paralipsis

Heavy weight strapped to my back Tear into my skin Let the straps tear through my skin Twist and turn my spine You are not a burden And I’ll wear your skin as if it’s mine We all have capacity To change ourselves with time But I’d carry your weight If you said you’d carry mine Every day that passes Is another chance To put the past behind you And take your life back So tell me, who’s your architect? This can’t be coincidence, and I’m not a mistake Press your weight onto my back, and I swear it won’t break You swore you heard your architect, to call you to the throne But your weight is mine and you're not alone Though we may walk through the storm My knees won't buckle and give out Turn my bones to dust And I’ll still be pressing you forward I’ll always press you forward
