Songtext von A Crush (is just a lack of information)

Backseat of this car, packed arm-to-arm, we're leavin' late 'cause The party's gone too slow Tension and tequila, then I feel ya grab my hand but Nobody even knows You're closin' the distance between us Perfect in this moment Can we just hold it? Now we're underneath the porch light Oh my God, it's been a long time I've been waitin' for this you and I, you and I But, honey, I know how it all works We'll get close and then we'll crash and burn So I won't ever let this spark ignite, play with fire So if a crush is just a lack of information I don't wanna learn Let's not be impatient, keep me waitin', things are better when There's so much left to know Mysteriously vague, an unturned page that leaves you wonderin' Which way this could go You're closin' the distance between us Perfect in this moment Can we just hold it? Now we're underneath the porch light Oh my God, it's been a long time I've been waitin' for this you and I, you and I But, honey, I know how it all works We'll get close and then we'll crash and burn So I won't ever let this spark ignite, play with fire So if a crush is just a lack of information I don't wanna learn (I don't wanna learn) I don't wanna hurt (I don't wanna hurt) I don't wanna fall in love and lose ourselves to the real world (no) So I don't wanna learn (I don't wanna learn) 'Cause I don't wanna hurt (I don't wanna hurt) I don't wanna give my best to just find out you're the worst (You're the fucking worst) 'Cause, honey, I know how it all works We'll get close and then we'll crash and burn
