Songtext von Muriel's Big Day Off

Fields of marigolds and reading Blue skies, white clouds Took a trip into the city Strollin’ around Find a girlfriend or a boyfriend Baby, lay me down Maybe pop into a Payless Took what she found ‘Couple cups of tea with Friedrick Clownin’ around Found herself back at the Payless A second round Her name was spelled Like this: M-U-R-I-E-L Muriel’s big day off Live it up! Oh So if you don't think you have what it takes To join the club of friendship, kindness good and fun Then M-U-R-I-E-L has no time for you Well, Muriel is keen to know That life begins when you let go And she has never thought this thought 'I wish I had what others got' I think she’s really onto something I wish that she would share the news Her name was spelled Like this: M-U-R-I-E-L-L-L-L TV time, TV time, TV time That’s my favorite show TV time, TV time, TV time That’s my favorite show
