Songtext von Thumbelina

Tonight I'll be thumbelina Sleeping in a walnut shell Upon a blue mattress Made of violet petals In my dreams, I'll be thumbelina Drifting away down the stream Sailing on a fallen leaf I will be the flower queen It's a wondrous dream But tomorrow I'll be taken away high up in the tree How frightened I will be When tomorrow I'll be high up in the tree Oh, will I ever be free? Tomorrow I'll be thumbelina And I'll be taken away to the treetops By a giant beetle But will I be dropped Upon a daisy and be free? Like thumbelina was? Like thumbelina was? I'll be taken away high up in the tree How frightened I will be When tomorrow I'll be high up in the tree Will I be dropped upon a daisy? Like thumbelina was? Like thumbelina was? Like thumbelina was? Sleeping in a walnut shell Waking up under a blanket Made of a red rose petal
