Songtext von The Day of Cannae

The sun arises with a bronze shine across the sky Wind blows across the fields of Ofanto Trumpets belt out, horses' neigh, the drumming of thousand hooves Orders, cheering and prayers Two armies marching on In the plain ready to fight Ready to fight and kill! A day to die! The day of Cannae! With the sword in the hand we fight for the Imperium Hannibal outflanked our troops. We were surrounded. Orders, cheering and prayers Two armies marching on In the plain ready to fight Ready to fight and kill! We were surrounded and torn apart Most of our troops were captured and killed This was the day of Cannae.
