Songtext von The Lashing (Ghost)

Therein lies the question What now is to be done? Keep hiding in the shadows Or go and face the burning Sun? Lay bare for the lashing Tie yourself up to the post Or fade away in shame And in time become a ghost? I’ve something to admit It’s right behind my lips And I just can’t hold it in Say it already, already, already now Everytime she comes around I feel it in my chest Like a swarm of bees buzzing With things I’ve left unsaid And I know she might go running If I open up my mouth But I'm afraid that it might kill me If I can’t let it out I’ve something to admit It’s right behind my lips And I just can’t hold it in Say it already, already, already now I’ve something to admit It’s right behind my lips And I just can’t hold it in I’ve something to admit It’s right behind my lips And I just can’t hold it in Say it already, already, already now
