Songtext von Surrounded By Assholes

tell me exactly what does straight edge mean it's time for the kids to come clean all i see is self righteous arrogance is it overcompensation for a guilty conscience? there's nothing punk about fascism and violence tongue in cheek with no life experience judging other people, a narrow list of friends and how many of them will be true to the end? true till death! but who gives a shit? personality counts first, don't be a labelled idiot straight edge or not! we can get along break down the walls, as one we stand strong it's a shame how something positive has turned foul every show i'm at, i'm greeding by a scawl i'm ashamed to be associated with all of this you've given us a bad name, there's something you've missed straight edge is about freedom, about choice, about you not brass knuckles, hard moshing, or your crew you choose for yourself, not for everyone i choose for me and i choose to have fun true till death! but who gives a shit? personality counts first, don't be a labelled idiot straight edge or not! we can get along break down the walls, as one we stand strong surrounded by assholes! give it a rest you don't know shit about the kids, based on how they're dressed surrounded by assholes! and negativity not doing drugs shouldn't imply militancy! i make my own choice! it does not affect you! i make my own choice! so fuck you!
