Songtext von Mirage

I heard a whisper in the wind I saw a shimmer on the horizon And from a distance, I could see your brilliance in the Sun An oasis from this lonely ground But the closer that I get, the further you become You're only a mirage To taunt my thirsty heart You are a beautiful illusion, but the closer I get You're gone, 'cause you're only a mirage Only a mirage So now I'm living in a draught, yeah 'Cause I got reckless pouring my heart out When you're just a player, a masquerader on the run They can't hurt you if you lеave by dawn And closer that I get, thе more transparent you become You're a mirage To taunt my thirsty heart You are a beautiful illusion, but the closer I get, you're gone 'Cause you're only a mirage, yeah, mmm
