Songtext von Promise To Return

I'm running blind, and I think this is the death of me The only vision I have in my head The flames are consuming The last gasp of humanity that remains in me I do the impossible, my routine You know, I'm already paying for my mistakes I will find you and start again I'll never let you go And you know it Share something that makes you well No empty words of love What I've been talking about, is that I'm here Fulfilling my promise to return Maybe the road I have to go down won’t be long But lonely, for sure.. Not by choice Do I compose a song of sorrow? Or make a sad song? Or simply drown everything In a sea of meaningless notes and melodies I'm around... Never the same, but always around... Share something that makes you well No empty words of love What I've been talking about, is that I'm here Fulfilling my promise to return My heart I gave My sanity I left Hoping to get back from the darkness Everything that was mine one day
