Deep are the fears, and loud are the cries Dark is the night that is taking our lives Dense are the ashes that fall on the snow And heavy the metal surrounding my soul Three years of death, shrouded in ice Darkness is all that is left in our eyes In the hour of the wolf The bitter taste of your demise Mighty winter, tearing through flesh Mighty winter, the final rest Powerless the gods will fear The night has come, the end is near Dawn of death Silent as snow we are falling now Failing and distant, the rays of the Sun Its glory forgotten Hunger in the dark The light betrays Failing and distant, the rays of the Sun The end has begun Storm without mercy, like iron the frost Neighbours will turn over all that's been lost Kinship is traded for fear and distrust As brothers and sisters grow cold and unjust Reaving hunger, ruthless cold Sign of the prophecy, stories of old Frozen calm before the storm The night has come, the end is born Mighty winter, tearing through flesh Mighty winter, the final rest Powerless the gods will fear The night has come, the end is near Dawn of death Silent as snow we are falling now Failing and distant, the rays of the Sun Its glory forgotten Hunger in the dark The light betrays Failing and distant, the rays of the Sun The end has begun As I wandered around in the ruins of my paradise I realized that the gods were all gone There was no hope, in this aftermath of winter's wrath And I realized, the end, my friend, is nigh Dawn of death Silent as snow we are falling now Failing and distant, the rays of the Sun Its glory forgotten Hunger in the dark The light betrays Failing and distant, the rays of the Sun The end has begun
