Songtext von Average Joe

I'm conventional, unexceptional I'm average at best, and I'm just like the rest And I wrote this song, you can sing along If it makes you feel special, that's fine I tie my own shoes the same way you guys do And I never leave home without glasses I’ve never done drugs and I drink from a mug That I found at a discount thrift store I'm an average Joe, going with the flow There's nothing too special about me And though I'm uncomfortable, I'm relatable I can market to just about anyone Why be a rock star when I can strum my guitar And just whine about being unpopular? I'm seemingly normal, but I'm signed to a label And I'm probably the coolest guy in the room I'm an average Joe! Why be a rock star when I can strum my guitar And just whine about being unpopular? I'm an average Joe, I'm conventional, unexceptional I'm average at best, and I'm just like the rest
