Songtext von The Long Lost Ruby

All that world could give us we had Except for one The most shiny gemstone Red as the evening Sun It was not meant for us We knew it well After we weighted anchor The ocean started to swell In the days of yore We had a map and an old lore And we wanted some more So, from your calm shore We started our quest for The long lost ruby The finest booty, soon its mine I can't keep my eyes off its marvellous shine The long lost ruby Where's your booty there's your heart After you die what's it that you've got? We steered our boat towards The red mark on the map We didn't see it coming, but It was a trap So we left our boat To have a share As we came back to coast It wasn't there In the days of yore We had a map and an old lore And we wanted some more So, from your calm shore We started our quest for The long lost ruby The finest booty, soon its mine I can't keep my eyes off its marvelous shine The long lost ruby Where's your booty there's your heart After you die what's it that you've got?
