Songtext von Purpling Dawn Pt. 2

I had a dream that I shaved my head Been so long since the back of my neck Felt the breeze of my old neighborhood I climbed up on the roof Just to see if I could See if I could, see you from here I wonder what you’re doing now Do you sleep easily Now that you’re on your own And you sleep without me Sleep without me, sleep without me These shifting sands do shape our love Pouring from two empty cups This heavy hand of mine did bring Early closure to splendid things It’s hard to know I'm doing right by you Not by your side I’d like to think I'm wrong, feel the strength in our divide ‘Cause in my dream I felt the warming Sun Gently reminding me of a purpling dawn Purpling dawn, purpling dawn These shifting sands do shape our love Pouring from two empty cups This heavy hand of mine did bring Early closure to splendid things
