Songtext von Christmas In The Midwest

It’s the wonderful life in black and white It’s a wonderful night in Chicago I canceled my plans ‘cause we’re getting snowed in We’ll dig ourselves out again when the morning comes And when it does, we’ll talk about Spending next year somewhere that it never snows But deep down I know, what I’ll always love best Is Christmas in the midwest Church on Christmas Eve, try not to fall asleep See my friends in the street under the cathedral lights Tried to turn my key with a frozen car battеry But when it’s zero degrees, that’s thе way that it goes And as we wait for the jump, we’ll talk about Spending next year way down in Mexico But deep down I know, what I’ll always love best Is Christmas in the Midwest California sounds nice When you slip on black ice And L.A. might not get cold But snow covered Christmas morning Well that just don’t get old ‘Cause deep down I know, what I’ll always love best Well deep down I know I’m sure I would miss Oh deep down I know, what I’ll always love best Is Christmas in the midwest
