Songtext von Legacy

Dear me, I got some words to advice Some things I wish knew Things I’d like to rewind You’ll go down your different paths That will lead to dead ends Or to another right step Keep your head on straight Eyes on the most high Stay true to yourself You were born to thrive See the cup half-full And count your blessings It’s a miracle if you’re still standing Oh, shouting holy hope into belief Oh, don’t forget the reason why you sing Let go, there’s freedom in surrendering Oh, let this be your legacy Slow down take a look around Take your time to breathe in, and take your time to breathe out Life’s short, call your mom and dad Love the ones you hold close, and love the ones that you don’t Keep your head on straight Eyes on the most high Stay true to yourself You were born to thrive See the cup half-full And count your blessings It’s a miracle If you’re still standing Oh, shouting holy hope into belief Oh, don’t forget the reason why you sing Let go, there’s freedom in surrendering Oh, let this be your legacy Oh, let this be your legacy Oh, let this be your legacy Dear me, if you’re still listening Walk in a joyful light, in authenticity Dream big, check off your bucket list And at the end of the day remember where you headed Singing, oh, shouting holy hope into belief Oh, don’t forget the reason why you sing Let go, there’s freedom in surrendering Oh, let this be your legacy
