Songtext von Dorian Gray (The Painting)

Was Dorian Gray a man? Is he a painting on a wall? Is it all just madness? Nothing in this world Will ever be the same Because the portrait on the wall Is the face of Dorian Gray Lips of ivory, face of gold He'll stay that way 'till He gets old and grey Is it true that a man can never change? Only the painting on the wall Can show his pain hey hey The hand on the picture That's covered with blood Takes away the justice Of any real God hey hey Nothing in this world Will ever be the same Because the portrait on the wall Is the face of Dorian Gray Lips of ivory, face of gold He'll stay that way 'till He gets old and grey Is it true that a man can never change? Only the painting on the wall Can show his pain hey hey The hand on the picture That's covered with blood Takes away the justice Of any real God hey hey In a moment of madness He struck with a knife Killed the painter of the portrait That marred his life hey hey With the same hand he found Himself striking again To take back the life that Belonged to him hey hey Was Dorian Gray a man? Is he a painting on a wall? Is it all just madness? Was Dorian Gray a man? Is he a painting on a wall? Is it all just madness?
