Songtext von Idols of Gold

Scoffing shepherds walking after lust Sucked in by the blood of filth Drowning in oceans of childish blood Never received no love and no truth Led astray with errors of the wicked Forever grow in grace, you idols of gold Die or pray with horrors of the sickening Forever live in grace, you idols of gold Beloved by angers of a compulsive world Devotion has a dry and weary spell Move on forward to greater works Those that shall endure to the end So far away from innocent purity Entering the cold ways of carnality And far away from fervent love To inhale the fear of your own God A deceptive mislead waiting to unfold Never grown in faith, you idols of gold Innocent flesh beyond the unknown Never live in faith, you idols of gold
