Songtext von Open Wounds

Stalesmate! Why can't they just agree? She says 'baby, we don't fit, oh can't you see'? He tried hard to make it all work out But in the end it was just the beggining of doubts He longs for answers for what he can't explain And it would be better to let go of this pain Forget the answers and forget the blame Her setback was not for him just a thing in vain Open wounds and healing souls A pathetic sore He's just roaming love again And he's been taking the wrong medicines To kill her inside himself But what a shame, the past can't be killed It's just the pearl inside the shell Open wounds and healing souls a pathetic sore He's just roaming love again Open wounds and healing souls a pathetic sore She's just downing love again (she couldn't stand the weight of a nightmare even tough she said she was livin a dream)
