Songtext von Farewell For You

It's 30 years ago Since you went away I had no chance to say goodbye And tears I've never cried In the distance from far away Still can hear your voice You left forever - your light has been gone But I still feel so strong Through all the endless days and nights I was hiding my soul from the light Sometimes I remember the sparkle in your eyes But you're over the rainbow Far beyond the clouds I hope you are proud of me And you will always be with me 'Till the end of my time Then we will meet again Look at me... (father) It's my farewell for you You are the man lost in my fantasy Distant dreams, reality (I can't break free) Every time I look in a mirror I can see your face And the child becomes a man But it will never be the same You will always be a part of me 'Cause your blood runs through my veins
