Songtext von Winterland

The sound of silence Whispers through the leafless trees Through the air I hear the voice callin' me Cold as the rocky mountains at night Not a candle was burning There was no starlight Snowflakes fell all around Her golden hair She called to me with her piercing eyes I was truly hypnotized, my heart froze From her cold, cold winter stare Chorus They say that she's the one Who soars upon the wind She'll take you in her arms Into her place of sin To winterland To winterland You can see her in the darkest of night When the moon is black And the time is right Seeking souls is her own dark destiny Longing for her soul to be freed A queen trapped in a siren's dream As she pulls you into her misery
