Songtext von I Saw The Light

I wandered through a dark world filled with shadows I wandered with no goals, not knowing where to go I thought that was reality I thought I knew it all And without knowing, I was dying in my loneliness I thought that flowers only grew in gardens I couldn't feel the warmth of the sun And I walked in torment Without a misgiving of my sad destiny And slowly, I was dying in my loneliness And then I saw the light of glory And in that light I saw your eyes And I knew that from then to eternity I would love only you Flowers would grow next to you and it wasn't spring The sun was now glowing on my skin next to yours And I knew that you were my life My heart, numb until then Started to awaken to the feeling of love And then I saw the light of glory And in that light I saw your eyes And I knew that from then to eternity I would love only you
